The Appell Center invites you to the Capitol Theatre to enjoy our new, monthly Black Film Series – a series of films that celebrate the culture of the African-American and Black communities!
The film chronicles the summer 1989 afternoon when the future President of the United States, Barack Obama, wooed his future First Lady, Michelle Obama, on a first date across Chicago’s South Side.
Snacks and refreshments available! Tickets can be purchased in advance or before the film starts.
Kids 12 and under need to be accompanied by an adult.
