Guthrie’s Day for Book Lovers – Meet Pam Jenoff

Ms. Jenoff was born in Maryland and raised in the Philadelphia area; attended George Washington University in D.C. and Cambridge University in England; accepted an appointment as Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Army; and following her work at the Pentagon moved to the State Department where she was assigned to the U. S. Consulate in Krakow, Poland. It was in Poland that she developed her interest in the Polish-Jewish relations and the Holocaust. Her books such as; The Kommandant’s GirlThe Winter GuestThe Diplomat’s Wife and others show her passion for this period of time in history.

Prior to the luncheon Random House Representatives will be talking about new releases. During the luncheon she will be discussing her newest novel The Lost Girls of Paris. Don’t miss this chance to visit with Author Pam Jenoff.  Doors will open at 11:45 am and the program will begin at Noon.

Cost is $30 – includes a copy of The Lost Girls of Paris along with a light lunch and tea.  Books will also be available for purchase and signing.  Call 717-632-5183 or stop by the library to register – registration ends Friday, April 26th.
