Kreutz Creek Library hosts Kevin Hartnett of the Hubble Space Telescope Mission at NASA

Presented by York County Libraries at Kreutz Creek Library

The Tweens’ Danger Club is hosting a special presentation by Mr. Kevin Hartnett, the Science Operations Manager for the Hubble Space Telescope Mission at NASA in VA.   Mr, Hartnett is one of our very own local heroes, having grown up in the York County area.  He became interested in the stars and the night sky at the Naylor Observatory in Lewisberry before going to college to major in Physics and Astronomy.

Join us for an exciting presentation as Mr. Kevin Hartnett informs and educates us with eye- popping images from his work with the Hubble Space Telescope.  In Mr. Hartnett’s honor the Tweens of Kreutz Creek may demonstrate some of their own rocket-launching skills.  This event is open to the community ages 9 and up.
