Synopsis:
Quentin Tarantino’s latest is an ode to Los Angeles and fading Hollywood set in 1969. Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt are perfect as an aging actor and his stunt double trying to remain relevant in changing times. Meanwhile, the Charles Manson family lurks ominously in the background. With a stellar cast including Margot Robbie (playing starlet Sharon Tate), Al Pacino, Margaret Qualley, Dakota Fanning, Bruce Dern, and Kurt Russell. The film is a breezy, meandering tale that is far less violent than most Tarantino films. However, there is some violence that some viewers may find objectionable.
The film won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the 2020 awards.
