Writers' Roundtable

Presented by York County History Center at York County Historical Society Museum

The next meeting of the Writers’ Roundtable is Thursday, March 5, 2020.

Anne Gray and Greg Halpin will teach us about the inner-workings of Wikipedia – The purpose of the site, how the editing process works, and, most importantly, how to edit existing articles and create new articles. As researchers, we hone our skills, becoming experts with our countless hours of reading. As writers, we transform our knowledge into digestible bits for others to consume. Wikipedia provides an outlet for the two worlds to collide – a platform for you to enlighten others of your expertise and earn recognition for your hard work.
The York County Writers’ Roundtable networks writers and researchers of York County and regional history. The group meets on the first Thursday of every quarter at 7:00 p.m. at the Historical Society Museum, Library & Archives a 250 E. Market St.  This event is free and open to the public.
