Save the date! On August 15th, the Cultural Alliance will once again host YorVoice – a friendly singing competition between 10 York-area singers/bands to inspire York pride, celebrate the arts and their impact on our community, highlight local talent, and most importantly, raise awareness for our 2020 Annual Campaign.

The 2020 YorVoice competition will be hosted online, tune in from the comfort of your own home! The event will be a joyful musical showcase of the talent of York County with one group emerging as YorVoice champion. We will be streaming the event live from the Appell Center for the Performing Arts and featuring live musical performances from house band Boompop Coalition with Emcee Ralph Washington and celebrity judges, it will be a night filled with music, fun, and laughs.

This event will be streamed for free online, right here on our facebook page, as well as on Youtube Live and WRCTV Channel 18, so we encourage you to tune in, or host a watch party at your home! We will be providing some guidance on how to stream right to your TV for a more immersive experience, as well as have some watch party kits available to get your party in the festive spirit!

We will be raising funds for arts and culture organizations in York County, which is of critical importance right now as these organizations have been impacted greatly by the pandemic. Watch from home, vote for your favorite teams, and help us keep our thriving arts community alive!
