Enjoy the beauty of fall in southern York County as you travel to Hanover Junction through the scenic Heritage Rail Trail County Park. The William H. Simpson No. 17, our authentic replica steam locomotive, will take you back in time to the 1860s when President Abraham Lincoln rode these tracks on his way to Gettysburg to deliver the Gettysburg Address. The excursion includes a 20-minute stopover at the Hanover Junction Museum and a history of the area’s towns and villages.

The coaches are pushed and pulled by our vintage diesel locomotive.

This excursion is 2 ½ hours.

Tickets will be printed and available for pick up at the ticket booth on the day of the excursion.
