Continental Currency for Kids

Continental Currency for Kids

Presented by York County History Center at Unknown

Free Program!  Targeted for kids in grades 3-8.  The American Revolution was a major undertaking.  It required brains, bravery and the one thing we didn’t have a lot of – money!  Join our Manager of School Programs, Bart, for an interactive Zoom presentation as he explores the history and production of Continental Currency, specifically the $5 million that was printed in York while it served as the Capital of the United States.  Students will be invited to create their own currency and share pictures with us.

Students and teachers are encouraged to register to attend this Zoom webinar!  Homeschool students are welcome to attend as well.  If you have any questions about this webinar, please contact Bart Stump at bstump@yorkhistoryhistorycenter.org.
