Lincoln Highway History
Cruising the Lincoln Highway we’ll explore some little known York County historical resources for research in the early 20th century. Established in 1913, the Lincoln Highway was the first coast to coast Main Street from New York City to San Francisco. Our speaker, Tom Davidson, established the Lincoln Highway Legacy in 2020 to help promote and preserve our too quickly vanishing Lincoln Highway heritage across York County, PA. Join us the first Thursday in March at 7:00pm via Zoom to hear more on life in the fast lane.
The York County Writers’ Roundtable networks writers and researchers of York County and regional history. The group meets on the first Thursday of every quarter at 7:00 p.m. at the Historical Society Museum, Library & Archives a 250 E. Market St.  This event is free and open to the public.  Hope to see you there!
