Family Health Council of Central Pennsylvania’s (FHCCP) Take Control HIV campaign to host HIV awareness event on National HIV Testing Day.
The “Living a Positive Life” event, in conjunction with Pride Month, strives to increase awareness of HIV, educate the public on HIV, available treatment and preventable options to stop the spread. The event will also empower individuals to seek treatment and those who do not know their status to get tested.
The event will include:
• Free on-site, confidential HIV testing
• Free Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccinations
• HIV mural unveiling by artist Stephen Michael Haas
• Drag queen bingo
• Food, cocktails and entertainment
• Giveaways and more!
