Volunteers Sought to Bring Heritage Village to Life

Presented by Ma & Pa Railroad Preservation Society at Ma and Pa Railroad Preservation Society

The MA & PA Railroad Preservation Society in need of additional volunteers to be trained as train operators, store clerks, millers, and other period specific positions. Newcomers and experienced docents (historically trained volunteers) will review basic principles of working with the public and learn about the Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad, the village of Muddy Creek Forks and how the railroad transformed the lives of our ancestors a century ago.

The annual docent training day will be held Saturday, April 23rd, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the General Store at Muddy Creek Forks, 1258 Muddy Creek Forks Road, Airville, Pa.
