Please join your friends at Martin Library as we continue our Grand Reopening Celebration.

Martin Library invites your family to experience, by live-stream, Luis Garay World Percussion. The event will be held in our newly renovated Family Place. If your family can’t make the live show at Paul Smith Library, join Martin friends and celebrate together.

The audience participates in this highly educational, entertaining and musical performance as they learn to clap authentic rhythms and play instruments from different cultures. Luis Garay’s blend of spicy undulating South American, Caribbean, and African rhythms introduces the audience to exotic instruments such as the balafon, djembe and talking drum, and also the more familiar congas, bongos, timbales, and drum set.
