Gallery at 227 will be featuring the clay monoprint works of Andrew Smith (Visual Realia Studio) during the months of December and January.
Gallery at 227, located on the ground floor of Codorus & Company, will be featuring a collection of clay monoprints by regional artist Andrew Smith.
The clay monoprint medium was created by Pennsylvania artist Mitch Lyons, combining elements of pottery and printing. Prints are created and pulled with colored clay slips rather than inks or paints, creating a one-of-a-kind print with clay clinging to the printed artwork.
The exhibit runs through December and January, with an opening First Friday reception on December 2nd from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
