GELLI PLATE PRINTING COMBINED WITH COLLAGE with Susan Davitti Darling

Gelli Plate printing is mixed-media mono-printing without a press. We

will be making prints from nature and also by using stencils, string, and

cut paper. Any acrylic paint that you have on hand can be used. While

the Gelli print can be used as an end in itself, our focus will be on

generating new and original papers for our collage practice. Printing

can be done on drawing or deli paper, but also magazine and discarded

book pages. On the second day of this workshop, we get down to the

actual work of collage, using some of our new collage materials.  If you do scrapbooking DYI etc you will LOVE this.
