unentitled Exhibition Opening Reception

Join us in kicking off York Arts Week with an opening reception for “unentitled.” Stop by and chat with the artists between 5 and 7 p.m. on August 19. The exhibition will be on view at Marketview Arts from August 19 to October 21, 2023.

Seven regional artists using various mediums collaborate on “unentitled,” looking at the broad topic of entitlements that are not present for all and the communities impacted.
Artists include Reagan Bitler, Ophelia Chambliss, Jeannine Dabb, Kristin Kest, Nicole Osborne, Andrew Smith, and Debbie Toluba. Mediums include clay, clay monoprints, copper, gourds, paint, paper collage, prints, tape, items from the natural world, and other mixed media elements.

In addition to individual works related to the “unentitled” theme, artists worked in various combinations to create artworks outside the box for each creator individually.
