Fun on the street in York’s Royal Square District, this high-energy fundraiser benefits the emergency, transitional, supported and residential housing programs of Bell Socialization Services. Teams of two to four members spiritedly race side-by-side in relay fashion to make their bed one item at a time, culminating with each team then piling on and ringing a bell. The event concludes with the presentation of delightfully quirky trophies for first and second place, Best Team Theme, Old Bedheads (all team members over the age of 60), and Bell Ringer prize for the team who raises the most money for this worthy cause.
