Troy D. Harman is a Park Ranger at Gettysburg National Military Park. He has worked in historical interpretation for the National Park Service since 1984, beginning at Appomattox Court House National Historical Park before moving to Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park, Independence National Historical Park, then Gettysburg. He holds a Ph.D. in History from Lehigh University and works as an adjunct history professor at Penn State University. His latest book is, All Roads Led to Gettysburg: A New Look at the Civil War’s Pivotal Battle, published by Rowman & Littlefield. Troy, his wife Lisa, and son Daniel live near Gettysburg.
