Honor York’s 275th anniversary by discovering its diverse historical & cultural heritage through the Second Saturday Lecture Series
Join authors Stephen Nicholas and Terrence Downs of the recently published book Re-Inventing the Wheel: The Incredible Story of S. Morgan Smith, Minister, Inventor, Industrialist. Nicholas will provide an overview of Smith’s life and his rise as one of York County’s leading industrialist and entrepreneur, along with his pioneering role in hydroelectric power. Following the presentation, guests are invited to explore S. Morgan Smith company objects on display at the museum.
