Martin Library is seeking submissions for up to 50 pieces for its September ART in mARTin event. This quarter’s gallery theme is “Latino Heritage.” The event will be up for full display on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. The opening reception will be held in conjunction with our Latino Heritage Celebration on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Artists may submit four original pieces of 2-D or 3-D artwork. Artwork must be wired for hanging (no sawtooth hangers) with a maximum frame size of 48” x 36”.

Submit your art any time between August 1st through the 18th by sending an email to ArtInMartinLibrary@gmail.com. Images of your art must be labeled with the artist’s last name and title. The body of your email should include artist contact information, the name of each piece, dimensions, media type and price. The deadline for entry is Friday, August 18 by 5 pm.

Artists will be notified of their acceptance by Wednesday, August 23. At that time, the Library will provide a gallery contract and notify artists of artwork intake times. All artwork must be delivered to Martin Library, 159 E. Market Street, York, PA 17401 by Wednesday, August 30.
