About the artists and works:

Tina Berrier: Tina Berrier is a self taught mixed media artist based in Harrisburg, PA. Her style and process reflect her love of street art, graffiti and illustration yet she strives to maintain a painterly quality. The larger themes of life and death, the impermanence of all things and the struggle of human relationships often resonate in the underlying meaning of the work. For this body of work titled ‘Transitions” Tina chose to focus on current personal situations. The passing of her father and her daughter leaving for college is reflected through anthropomorphic images creating a colorful and whimsical study of an emotional time.

Adrienne Brenner: Adrienne Brenner was born in York, Pa in 1973. Brenner works predominantly in Alabaster, however she has also worked with pastel and photography. Brenner earned a MS in Art Therapy with a specialization in Phototherapy from the College of New Rochelle, NY in 1998.

Marion K Stephenson: Marion has been painting since childhood. Her professional education began at Kendall School of Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduating, she went to New York City to work as a graphic designer. Marion began attending classes at the Art Students League and soon became a full time student immersed in the study of classical painting with some of the best artists in the country. Beginning her fine art career painting in oils, Marion soon discovered pastels, and fell in love with the ability to layer pigments while keeping the colors fresh. She now works in both mediums, which ever catches her fancy.
