As part of the History Center’s Second Saturday Lecture Series, lifelong York County native Dr. Joshua Doll will discuss the history of the Foust Distillery Company formerly located and operated on the outskirts of Glen Rock, PA.  Doll will focus on the Distillery’s rise in the mid 1800’s to its ultimate closure and building ruins 125 years later.  The presentation will feature a display of Doll’s personal collection of distillery items and objects.  Doll has 20 years of experience in public education, having served as a secondary history teacher, assistant principal, principal, and currently as an assistant superintendent.
