Silent Film & Mighty Wurlitzer Organ Demonstration of the classic; “Sherlock, Junior” with Buster Keaton!
Join the Appell Center on Wednesday, January 17th in the Capitol Theater for a family-friendly screening of a silent film accompanied by music played live from the mighty Wurlitzer organ! Take a hilarious trip to the past and marvel at the live musical performance by Mr. Don Kinnier, known as the “premier silent film accompanist in the northeastern United States.
Event will begin at 6:00pm with about 10-15 minutes of organ demonstration by Don. Don will present all the bells and whistles of the organ! Following the demo, Don will accompany “Sherlock Junior,” a 1924 classic by Buster Keaton.
No RSVP required, all are welcome. Doors open at 5:30pm
This event is part of CelebrateARTS: a free community cultural celebration January 13-20!
