Celebrating President’s Day, the YC Wind Symphony welcomes the Spring Garden Band of York, the fourth oldest operating municipal band in the country, to the Waldner Performing Arts Center for a joint performance on the campus of York College of Pennsylvania. York College President, Dr. Pamela Gunter-Smith, will join the combined ensembles in a performance of Aaron Copland’s stirring masterwork, A Lincoln Portrait. The combined groups will also perform Alfred Reed’s dedicatory work, Rushmore.

This event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required.
