The New York Wire Company building originated in 1888 as the York Wire Cloth Company, and was initially used as a space to produce wire cloth for insect screening. Most recently, the building housed the New York Wire Company, where it used its high speed wire weaving looms to produce aluminum mesh for industrial use. Some of these original looms and spools of wire are still in the in the building, even now!

Currently, this expansive property is now called New York Wire Works, and we are so excited to use it as a space to continue our mission of innovation, revitalization, and community. Just like with our other properties, New York Wire Works is a home to artists, entrepreneurs, and business owners alike, where the power of community will be harnessed to push each other closer to reaching our individual goals and dreams.

We look forward to welcoming you to our creative space.
