Our Story: Enhancing Lives, Building Futures

Celebrating 50 years of dedicated service, the Northeastern Senior Community Center has been a beacon of hope and companionship for seniors in York County. Founded in the basement of Otterbein Church in Mt. Wolf, our journey has been one of unwavering commitment to enriching the lives of our cherished seniors, both active and homebound.

Our Mission:

At Northeastern Senior Center, our mission is simple yet profound: to enhance, enrich, enlighten, and nourish the lives of our seniors. Through a diverse range of programs and services, we aspire to overcome loneliness, enhance self-esteem, and promote personal growth while fostering independence and community involvement.

Making an Impact:

Every day, we witness the transformative power of our programs. From the lively camaraderie of our daily activities to the nourishing meals delivered to the doorsteps of homebound seniors, our center serves as a vital link to increased quality of life. By keeping seniors engaged and connected, we help them remain at home and out of nursing homes, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose.

What Sets Us Apart:

What sets us apart is our unwavering dedication to serving the entire York County community of seniors. Our programming not only provides essential services but also offers families peace of mind, knowing their aging loved ones continue to socialize and flourish in their later years, regardless of their physical abilities or limitations.

Together, let’s continue to enhance the lives of our seniors and build futures filled with joy, companionship, and dignity.
