Reilly, and the Cultural Alliance of York County.
He has work in the corporate collections of Shipley Energy (York, PA) and Winchester Gardens (Winchester, OH) as well as in private collections, and in 2007 had two works published in Photos That Inspire: Photo Workshop (Lynne Eodice, Wiley Publishing, Inc.). Shawn Young is a digital artist and fine art printmaker living and working in downtown York, Pennsylvania. Having over 17 years experience in large format printing and digital imaging, Shawn has explored a wide range of digital art mediums including photography, illustration, motion graphics and 3D virtual environments. Recently his artwork was featured on the cover of the UK magazine Faith Initiative and also shown at the National Institute for Art History in Paris, France (INHA).
Shawn’s Trips & Dreams artwork series combines photography, digital collaging and Google deep dreaming. Deep dreaming, also know as inceptionism, is a digital process that uses Google’s artificial neural network to mimic human imagination, i.e. when we see a dragon in the clouds. The genre has been compared to visionary and psychedelic art. Trips & Dreams builds upon this to portray local subject matter from a perspective that questions and reveals different layers of reality.
The Fracture Paintings artwork series combines photography, cubism and digital painting. The process involves digitally cutting and splicing Shawn’s photography and illustrations, then blending and texturing the shapes together until the desired look is achieved. The term “fracture painting” was coined to describe the overall process. Inspired by ancient cultural mythologies and storytelling, the artwork conveys ideas related to animal totems, spirit guides and ancient philosophies. This style of abstract painting was developed to reflect, in both process and form, our desire to deconstruct and interpret the signs and symbols we encounter in our daily lives.

Hello.
Are you available to make a giclee print of a water color of mine? If so, how soon can it be done and how long does it take? Thank you.
