Auditions Stewartstown Summer Theatre's The Music Man

            The Stewartstown Summer Theatre announces auditions, tech crew registrations, and pit orchestra registrations for its 43rd annual summer production, The Music Man. The auditions will be held at  26 South Main Street in Stewartstown.  Auditions are open to youth ages 12-19. There are no cuts. There is a choice of 10 audition times on Saturday, May 21st. Youth who are interested in lead roles should also reserve Sunday afternoon, May 22nd for callbacks.  Any youth interested in being part of stage, lighting or sound crews should register by going to www.sumctheatre.com.  Youth who are unavailable on the 21st should contact the theatre at 717-746-6216 and leave a message.

Youth who are interested in a singing role should bring an approximately one-minute excerpt of a prepared piece and a copy of the music for the accompanist. For speaking parts, a one-minute memorized monologue is required. All should bring shoes suitable for a dance audition, a non-returned photograph, and a summer schedule of work, vacation plans. The performances will be held on August 3-13 at   26 S. Main Street.
