WANTED: Individuals and teams to walk in high heels to stand up against gender violence. Sister walkers and children are welcome to walk and raise money too!
SIGN UP: Online registration opens on August 15 at www.ywcayork.org.
GET PLEDGES: Tell your friends why you’re walking a mile in high heels. Promise them pictures. Have them donate online directly to your campaign. All are welcome at the Kick Up Your Heels pre-party, which will feature music, food,a beer garden and more! Register, starting on August 15, and follow YWCA York on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to stay up on current event news.

4:30pm: Registration and check in starts.
4:30pm: Kick Up Your Heels pre-party.
6:00pm: Recognition of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month
6:30pm: Walk through Downtown York
7:00pm: Walk ends at First Friday
