Join us from 6-9pm on the 2nd floor for figure drawing! Led by Annelise Vuono of Lovebug Illustrations and featuring a diverse lineup of models every single month.

No experience necessary! Annelise is a great teacher who makes these exercises approachable for those who need it and engaging for those who desire more of a challenge.

Nude session
Focus: dealing with quick changing natural lighting in the winter months (especially in the extended poses). Focus on seated poses affecting proportions and foreshortening.
Feb 26th
Model: Imrane
Clothed session
Focus: drawing folds, and wrinkles in fabric and light shadows for how clothing drapes on the body.
March 25th
Model: Mondel
Nude session
Focus: seeing the figure and background as an entire composition. How do elements of the background echo the space the figure is in?
April 29th

Focus: drawing specular highlights on sequined outfits. Softening lines to show ‘movement’ while figure is stationery.
