Heritage Day at the Ma & Pa Heritage Village

The Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Village at Muddy Creek Forks invites the public to their 24th annual Heritage Day this Saturday, September 25, 10 am – 5 pm. The open house features fun for all – special exhibits, presentations, displays, track working demonstrations, hand-made crafts, children’s activities, and food, along with tours of the historic village. Forty-minute motorcar train rides, that run through the scenic Muddy Creek Valley, are available for a nominal charge of $10 for adults and $7 for children. Heritage Day is the only time each season when Ma & Pa locomotive No. 82 and caboose No. 2007 are open to the public. This is the Society’s biggest event each year.
