WEATHER UPDATE as of Friday Morning:
All activities will take place from 10am-12:30pm. The festival will conclude after the 1pm The Matinee “TRADITIONS” recital and Miller Scholarship Competition at St John’s Episcopal. All outdoor activities are canceled as is the Next Gen Recital and Finale.

 

Rhythm grooves for all with “junk” instruments (buckets, chopsticks, pie pans, etc.)  – Jeff will run 30 minute sessions that are drop-in, no-experience-required and participants will learn several rhythmic patterns that can be combined to form intricate African-inspired rhythm ic“grooves”

Sessions begin on the hour from 10-2 and last about a half an hour each.

This event is being presented as part of the Miller Music Festival. 

Stop in and pick up your Festival “passport” and map from Heidelberg UCC and find out where all of the day’s activities are happening! Learn how you can get your passport stamped and earn a free slice of pizza from Archetype and hot cocoa from Prince Street Cafe (5-8 stamps). Extra-ambitious festival participants (8+ stamps) will qualify to enter a drawing for FREE tickets to a variety of upcoming events at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts.

PICK-ME-UP SNACKS ALL DAY at STJOHN EPISCOPAL and HEIDELBERG UCC

Individually packaged FREE snacks and pony bottles of water will help keep you going so that you can visit ALL the venues and stations!
