The mills of Southern York County, Pa. and Northern Harford County, Md. will be celebrating the heritage of milling the weekend of June 12 and 13 by hosting their ninth area-wide open house. This is part of a broader celebration sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Society for the Preservation of Old Mills (SPOOM). Participating in the event will be Wallace-Cross Mill, Felton; Eden Mill, Pylesville, Md; Muddy Creek Forks Roller Mills; and New Park Wind Engine. Hours vary with each mill, however generally between noon and 4 pm.
