Organ Crawl and Play

Presented by York County Music Teachers Association at St. John Episcopal Church, York PA

Jan 06 2024
Organ Crawl and Play

Join Rodney Barnett and Dick Frey to discover the King of Instruments from the inside out! Look, see, touch, play, and get inside a pipe organ – there are two wonderful instruments in today’s venues and two excellent teaching artists to show and share. Students who play the keyboard (all levels) may bring a short piece that does not require the damper pedal to try on the organ.

Organ performances will be at 11am and 2:30pm at St Johns Episcopal, and between 11am – 3pm at Heidelberg.

This event is being presented as part of the Miller Music Festival.

Stop in and pick up your Festival “passport” and map from Heidelberg UCC and find out where all of the day’s activities are happening! Learn how you can get your passport stamped and earn a free slice of pizza from Archetype and hot cocoa from Prince Street Cafe (5-8 stamps). Extra-ambitious festival participants (8+ stamps) will qualify to enter a drawing for FREE tickets to a variety of upcoming events at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts.

Free parking is available in the parking lot across from St. Johns Episcopal on January 6th using the code U6YKD.
