Taste of the Valley

Join us Friday, October 25th for Southern York County’s premier fundraising event–Taste of the Valley!

Taste of the Valley is an annual fundraising event held to benefit the Arthur Hufnagel Public Library of Glen Rock. This year’s Taste of the Valley festivities will begin at 6pm at the Arthur Hufnagel Public Library of Glen Rock with a complimentary glass of champagne, a scavenger hunt and silent auction. After they’ve completed a scavenger hunt, guests will walk or drive to the Glen Rock Mill Inn to enjoy live Jazz, drinks, hors d’oeuvres and a variety of food stations .

The menu for the evening will include:

3 butlered hors d’ oeuvres from 7–9 pm:

–Sweet and Spicy Thai Shrimp

–Honey and Feta Phyllo Triangles

–Beef Tenderloin Crostini with blue cheese mousse and caramelized onions

Food stations available 7–9 pm:

Salad Station:

Mixed greens with warm marinated and grilled garden vegetables and charred sweet tomatoes with balsamic glaze, mozzarella bocconcini, house made croutons, assorted house made dressings

Chef Staffed Stir Fry Station:

Guests choice of shrimp, pork or chicken flashed in a wok with Asian style veggies and assorted sauces, fried rice and white rice for accompaniments

Chef Staffed Carving-Slider Station:

Shaved Prime Rib of beef and Carved turkey, potato slider rolls, assorted sauces and toppings for slider sandwiches

Dessert Station: Placed at 8:30 pm

Assorted dessert miniatures, cookies and bars

Coffee Station: Placed at 8:30 pm

Freshly brewed coffee, cream and sugar available

Taste of the Valley fundraiser tickets are $45 each or $80 per couple and include two drink tickets valid for draft beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverages, butlered hors d’oeuvres, and food stations.

Cash bar service will be available until last call at 11pm.
