Greetings from Sadness and Sorrow at Creative York

What we determine to be building blocks of “Self” is based on our own self defined parameters either from our experiences, personal history, family, cultural and/or religious traditions. What happens when we collide with traumatic events in our lives? These events re-shape and redefine our definitions of “Self” which ultimately re-writes our personal stories in ways we never planned for. These distressing or traumatic events can shape our outward appearances as well as the inward aspects of our character and/or emotional state.
