Rails, Sails, and Trails—The Rix Sing American Folk Songs of Railroaders, Sailors, Cowboys, and Hobos

Rick Nestler and Rik Palieri perform as The Rix, at an earlier event at Red Land Community Library.

Rick Nestler and Rik Palieri return to Red Land Community Library for a concert with songs and stories of trains and hobos, and more.

Grammy winner Rick Nestler & Grammy nominee Rik Palieri sang and sailed with Pete Seeger for over thirty years. Rick Nestler wrote “The River That Flows Both Ways,” the unofficial Clearwater and Hudson River anthem.

Rik Palieri is a songwriter as well as an accomplished author, world traveler, and multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, banjo, Native American flute, mouth bow & ukulele.

Event is free and donations accepted. Doors will open at 6pm. Registration required to plan for seating.
