Katherine (Katie) French

As an artist, former art educator, and current instructor, I have seen firsthand the transformative power art evokes in people of all ages.

Art connects us all. To me, art speaks a transcendental language that dissolves the barriers society has created for us.  Art is a visual language which can be experienced and felt intimately, yet universally.

My mission is to help others recognize their voice by coming into one’s own creativity, as well as being able to appreciate the artistic expression of others.

We are creatively connected to ourselves, one another, and the world.

As an artist, I make works to express the complex feelings that speak of my place in this world, relationships to others, and role as a human.  I also feel a great responsibility to make art for others that can be cherished and enjoyed forever.
